New Cards

I had a very busy weekend and am now just catching up. If I ever want to redo my kitchen cabinets again , someone slap me. Yes ,they look great ,but half way into it I looked at the project and thought "what am I doing". 4 days later they were finished. However ,I did find time to crop all day sat. with some lovely ladies.These are the cards I completed. ( one of them is for my daughter's birthday but I won't tell witch one .hahaha) The first card is Krista's rendition of Elphaba , the next is her
Party Hardy, and the last Is Janessa. All were colored with copic markers (except Elphie's hair, pencils)

Distressed

Here we go , "Time" for the next challenge over at DDCC.
This particular challenge requires disrtressing , how you interpret distressing is up to you. However, I really took it literally and used the

Monday night class at Simply Scrapbooks

Valentine's day

With Valentine's Day ( my great grandpap was named Valentine) right around the corner, I've been making alot of cards in that theme.Here is my latest.

This was the hardest

This image is colored on real Kraft paper, the kind grocery bags are made of. So I had to adapt to a different way of blending , no gamsol here.  As challenging as it was ,I am very pleased with the out- come.  The image that I  used is a Red Lead stamp and the paper is Graphic 45. I used Prisma colored pencils and the Lacy squares from Spellbinders. I hope you like what I did and stop back again . Any comments are truly appreciated.

I just love her she is just so sweet reminds me of my granddaughter,I love to use ribbon and pins and when I can find the appropriate charm or 2 I use them too. I colored her using copice and pencils. I can't seem to decide which I like best so I use both.

Yay ,I made it as a guest designer on Digital Tuesday Don't know the particulars yet, but I'm excited to be able to use digis of my choice for alot of the challenges.

New Challenge

This week over at Dutch Dare http://dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com/ we are having a photo inspired challenge. Brought to us by
 SIMPLE HUE .I love photo inspirations because they offer a wide range of interpretation from color to theme. I chose color for this one (  I really want Spring to be here, it's 50 degrees out now).
