A Rubber Release

Simply Betty Stamps is releasing a line of Steampunks in Rubber, for those of you who prefer to color stamps that you have physically Stamped. One of those stamps is MEDUSA, who I was lucky to showcase for this release and sale of rubber stamps.

A New challenge is to be had at Simply Steampunk . Show us your metal! yes the new challenge is to use meta somewhere on your creation. I had PICSES to work with for this challenge, now Picses was a little difficult for me until I looked carefully at the image. She is caught up in a net so I put her in "water" (well i simulated it) I used foil and embossed waves (lightly) then used ink over top then cut waves out . I photographed it with foil in the top of the frame to kinda look like water. Well I think I achieved the look I was going for . I hope you hop over and see what you can do with a steampunk image from SBS ( you can win the challenge with an image from SBS)

Have you ever tried to make something look evil?

Well for this latest challenge wih the SBS fan page ,that is exactly what we had to do . Take the evil mermaid and do her up evil or the good mermaid and do her up sweet. I chose the evil Mermaid ,SPIKA. This is the creation I did, with the help of a cricut machine.

RIBBONS AND FIBERS AND LACE OH MY!!!!

ANOTHER swap with the SIMPLY BETTY fans. I was so lucky to have ANITA BLAKE as my swap partner. She lives overseas so I got a wonderful assortment of things i haven't seen here.

Was she good to me or what? I dove right in ,bagged each piece and filed them all away and have even used a few pieces already. I am SET for awhile with lace and pretty frilly ribbon. Thank you Anita.
